The ABC's of TWLS

Class size - Each classroom is staffed with a lead teacher and team teacher. Classes do not exceed a 9:1 ratio, meaning even more individualized attention for students.

Parent-Teacher conferences - TWLS hosts parent-teacher conferences three times per year. Communication is the backbone of our school and informal communication is encouraged on an ongoing basis. It is not uncommon for teachers to connect with parents and parents with teachers, on a weekly basis.

School year - TWLS has a nine-month school calendar with summer programming opportunities.

School hours - The day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. All students are dropped-off and picked-up at the north doors of the building. TWLS does not currently provide care before or after school.

Transportation - Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from school. There is a nominal reimbursement provided by the public school district for this activity.

Lunch and snacks - All lunches and snacks must be brought from home. For a nominal fee, students can enjoy a pizza lunch once each month.
